Princess North Star

Daughter of Shining Armor and Princess Cadence.
More of a warrior or at least adventure princess, she patrols the Crystal Empire and it’s frozen surroundings to make sure no one gets lost and guides travelers safely from one place to the other, bracing any dangers along the way. She is very friendly and likes to surround herself with the “common people”, always being curious about their lives and stories.

She’s a bit fickle when it comes to her princess title and the fuss surrounding it, so she’ll often disguise herself and refer to herself as “just Star”. While not outright rejecting of her parents, she tends to get a bit…flighty when faced with the palace surroundings.

As a foal, she was more of a dreamer and would often roam the palace gardens/fly around/hide from her teachers because history of the empire was boring and something she'd rather experience for herself than hear about. Her parents were very patient and understanding with her but insisted she get a proper princess-y education because regardless of her life choices, she'd have to represent the Crystal Empire in some way, some day. She only got her cutie mark very late after sneaking out of the palace to help in the search (and consequent return) of a lost foal.
